The Patria AMV-T is the first Armoured Vehicle designed and prodiced by a rebuilt Patria after a hiatus of almost a century, based on the early 21st century design of the original AMV.

It incorporated experiences from WWIII and the Russian Invasion of the 2080s, as well as the expectations of operations in interstellar conflicts, partially with minimal support. As such, the AMV-T was designed to operate in gravitational fields from 0.25 to 2 times Earth standard gravity, in low pressure atmospherics and under a variety of other environmental environments.

As of 2220, the AMV-T, the majority of its systems and its training material were made 'open source' and added into the Library of Alexandria. As such the AMV-T and its subvariants are some of the most popular Infantry Fighting Vehicles and Armoured Weapon Carriers used by Terragen settlements within Local Space, even though it is two generations behind bleeding edge IFVs.
