The Lockheed-Martin SA-25 Warthog has been developed for ground combat support roles within the United States Space Forces, in aerospace and near space environments.

As the role is support of ground forces, the design has been selected for its heavy armour and its heavy weapon systems, as well as large bomb bay, which can be used for the entire gamut of modern munitions, from iron bombs to the latest in smart weapon systems. Only in the last resort can the SA-25 carry anti-shipping missiles for space use.

Due to its niche as ground combat support craft, most of its armour is at the bottom of the craft and it uses six massive high-bypass fusion turbo fan engines to give it slow speed and even hovering capabilities for its role.

Usually it is only used in environments where the US Space Force or Air Force have air superiority, as its more lumbering movements make it a preferred target for interceptor craft.
