The Borusk 3 is the third iteration of the well known Borusk Infantry Fighting Vehicles originally designed during the early 21st century for the Polish Armed forces and produced by the local HSW Consortium to replace old Soviet era technology.

It is based on the Borusk 2, incorporating experiences from decades of operation and with an eye of increasing trooper survivability in urban combat situations, with a secondary goal of increasing viability in interstellar operations. As such, the Borusk 32 was designed to operate in gravitational fields from 0.25 to 2 times Earth standard gravity, in low pressure atmospherics and under a variety of other environmental environments.

The Borusk 3 was also designed to increase serviceability in the field, with a small fabricator for small repairs on internal systems.

In 2220, the Block 4 variant of the Borusk 3, the majority of its systems and its training material were made 'open source' and added into the Library of Alexandria. As such the Borusk 3 and its subvariants are some of the most popular tracked IFV used by Terragen settlements within Local Space, even though it is two generations behind bleeding edge IFVs.
